Certification Process

To attain Level 1 CSNT, participants are required to meet the eligibility requirements and pass both the written and practicum assessments that are designed to evaluate knowledge and practical competencies in providing ABA services. These requirements are established to ensure that CSNT have demonstrated the knowledge and skills in delivering foundational ABA services.

Assessment method

  • Written Assessment
    Consist of 40 short answers and multiple choice questions
  • Level 1 Practicum Assessment based on the 3 areas:
    1. Professional conduct
    2. Standard clinical skills
    3. Overall performance
Passing Criteria:
  • Written Assessment
    over 80 %
  • Level 1 Practicum Assessment
    over 80 %

Eligibility

The CSNT certification course is designed for individuals who are passionate about teaching students with SEN.

It is highly recommended for participants with the following educational background:
  • Psychology, Education, Special Education, Social Work, Early Childhood Education, Counselling
Entry Requirements
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Pass Sexual Conviction Record Check

Exemptions

Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)/ Board Certified assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA)/ Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) holders are only required to attend the following:
